RIP Synology

Something bad just happened.

I have a flashing orange status LED on my Synology DS101g. This, after looking in the manual, is surprisingly ‘not good’.

Flashing Orange Status Light = Volume Crashed or No Volume

That means the Hard Disk inside that contains all of my Backups of music, pictures and video is broken. No Good.

Although I will try to recover the data, it could be a lost cause. So it is now I say RIP Synology.
