Why is it when you are without the internet for even the shortest amount of time, things update around you.
It does not feel like a short amount of time, but I sure missed the internet. Once connected my PC wanted updates, I signed in to the site today and -YEAH- Wordpress requires updates.
So you, the reader, also need an update.
It’s my house now. Yes I am a homeowner.
I am also very lucky to have my girlfriend living with me.
She cooks, cleans, irons and all that jazz - well, ok, that was a lie - but she is awesome and does her fair share of the work in the house.
Lets get this stuff updated shall we…

No girlfriend - I’m single again (Hellooo ladies???)
Car - Well I’m driving in Dad’s Peugeot 306 TD which is leaking power steering fluid; it gets me to work and back…!
I applied for an internal job at EDF - doing some number crunching!! :-0 but I didn’t get it…
It’s ok I can sit at home and stare at two - not one - but two dead xbox 360’s - I will call Microsoft one day…
I may put up some useful FAQ’s on maintaining a PC but that is only if I can be bothered. Too much effort - Too little reward….
Ciao for now

Well I have just walked from the Train station and into the EDF Building, and then the heavens opened - I just missed it.
However I thought the rain had passed and we should be in the summer (look at my previous posts).
I want the sun, my girlfriend had only just got back from her holiday and is tanned. I need to catch up with her so I need lots of sun…
Any ways I suppose I should look into doing some work soon…

Long time since I have posted.
I have moved into a flat with my girlfriend BIG STEP - but loving every minute. Argos has become my bestfriend and my worst enemy. Set of chocolate leather sofas are the comfiest things I have ever sat on. A cooker and a washing machine were two very good purchases. The Coffee table and TV cabinet are a difficult story.
The TV cabinet was the first product in the flat. Carried back from Argos and built in about 45 minutes. Then everything else was delivered. The last item was the coffee table. A flat packed item that I started to build in the early evening.
You know that something is wrong when it goes together too easily. About 60% through construction I realise that a key piece is upside down. So regressing the product to 10% construction I swapped the piece around. On through to about 95% I go to put the drawer handles on.
Let me describe the drawer, its the full size of the base of the unit and can be pushed/pulled from both sides. Well it should push through if the pieces fit together correctly… The drawer sat too high, so required a small amount taken off of the bottom. That’s what I decided to do on my Bank holiday day off.
It’s fixed now, but there is a bit of blood around. My thumb is only slightly severed. Thank you Argos…
That aside, this flat rocks, and love sharing it with my girlfriend.

Its getting warmer, and the clocks have changed.
Does that mean summer is on the way?
I hope so. Especially considering my girlfriend and I are planning to move into a flat together. Its great news, but it will be a great deal of work.
Packing - The ultimate in “Do I really need that?” and “I didn’t know I had one of these?”
