(The Music was driving me crazy!!)

Play Hazard Lane

“The marketing objective behind this game is to increase Landmark’s brand awareness in all our markets and generate large scale awareness of the environmental risks that effect residential and commercial property in the UK.
This is a fun, original way (especially for a B2B company), and not to mention carbon neutral way to raise our corporate profile and create interest in an issue which may be seen as a little dull.”

CGI – is it real?

May 28th, 2008

I play alot of Halo 3 (when I can), this amongst other games are not only good to play – they are good to look at.

Games are becoming monumentally big to make, soon rivalling the film industry for budget and resources. Here are a few screenshots from games that I play which without close inspection look relatively real! Imagine the work that would of gone into this and how it can compare to Pixar’s Toy Story of many years ago!

These images are rendered in realtime within the game, whereas CGI in films can take hours to render individual frames.
