CGI – is it real?
May 28th, 2008I play alot of Halo 3 (when I can), this amongst other games are not only good to play – they are good to look at.
Games are becoming monumentally big to make, soon rivalling the film industry for budget and resources. Here are a few screenshots from games that I play which without close inspection look relatively real! Imagine the work that would of gone into this and how it can compare to Pixar’s Toy Story of many years ago!
These images are rendered in realtime within the game, whereas CGI in films can take hours to render individual frames.

March 25th, 2008… yet another timely update of the the website that is clokey2k.com
Since we all moved on in life, and I lost all those drunken images that I was using to hold you all to ransom, this site has lacked something…
Haven’t a clue what can replace this item – which I will call the ‘c’ factor. It’s like the ‘x’ factor but will appear higher in any alphabetical list.
Auditions for the ‘c’ factor are going to be held in the future – it can be any idea and you can send it to me in any way you feel – Submit a video to youtube or send me the blueprints for your bank heist, I really don’t mind.

Hello world!
February 4th, 2007Yet again a new blog system. This one rocks though. look how long it took to make – 5 minutes from installation to instigation.
It looks really cool and sleek, well thought out app. What else is there as a requirement? I don’t know how it deals with images and galleries, but that is not really a problem.
