No Tea and Coffee making facilities

June 3rd, 2009

So I find myself writing a post whilst in my hotel room in London. A two day training course takes me away from my normal home, and away from my girlfriend :-(

While I am here I decided to take a trip down Baker Street and look at all of the lovely restaurants. I then made my selection and walked out with a Big Tasty (oh yes, McDonalds).

But back on topic…

MY HOTEL ROOM HAS NO KETTLE!!!

  • No Tea
  • No Coffee
  • No little biscuit packet
  • No annoying little UHT milk cartons

In short, I am not happy!!

It’s strange because when I am home I may drink 1-2 cups of tea in a month. But a hotel room needs Tea and Coffee making facilities.

[This also makes reference to Bill Bailey's DVD back story of hotel locations - although I haven't video'd it]

Bristol International Airport

April 4th, 2008

It really is something to look at 6:45 in the morning… in the fog… in the cold… through tired eyes.

Just did a friend a favour and drove him to the airport this morning. It’s gonna leave me kind of tired but I knew today was going to be long. I’m now about to work my 9-5 job at Landmark, go home, nap, andd then go out for my Grandads birthday. I don’t know how old he is this year, nor have I got him a card – but he’ll understand.

Why? because I have been to Bristol!! (see above);

I’m tempted to organise a spontaneous trip to London to see someone – if the hotel prices are right, and if the car survives the journey…
