The idea seemed simple, just to transfer a domain name to my hosting package from eUKHost (shamelessly plugged). I wasn’t expecting to have issues with .htaccess files.
I had a redirect match to redirect from http://clokey2k.com/ to my WordPress installation folder http://clokey2k.com/c2kword/, the problem was it was being executed as a higher priority and redirecting ANY URL. This included the new domain name.
Thanks to the instructions on this page I could remove the redirect, and the second domain works correctly.
